About the event
Queer no Estendal is a partnership between Queer Lisboa and Cinema no Estendal, joining forces for the second time for an open-air cinema session, a week before the start of the festival, as a warm-up. On September 12th, at 8 pm, at Escadinhas do Mercado Forno do Tijolo (entrance via Rua Damasceno Monteiro), the festival presents a free admission session with four award-winning short films from the 2024 edition of Queer Lisboa, in a celebration of the occupation of public space, community life, and the art of short films.
